SAMSUNG Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup Dubai
Not even two years after the closing of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2009, Dubai hosts a new top-flight event with the most spectacular version of football. The champions of each continent, plus the current World Champions plus hosts UAE will compete for the Samsung Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup 2011, a World-class competition to be held this same November, from 22nd to 26th.
Recently crowned World Cup champions Russia, the dethroned kings and South American Champions Brazil, Switzerland, as European representative (Runner ups in the Euro Beach Soccer League 2011, after Russia), Mexico as CONCACAF kings, Oman as Asia Champions, Tahiti from Oceania, Nigeria as African ambassadors, and hosts UAE will hit the sand of a 4000-seater stadium in “The Walk”, Jumeirah Beach Residence. With the biggest guns of the Beach Soccer panorama fighting for the Cup, competitiveness and excitement are more than guaranteed in this new competition to jump onto the Beach Soccer calendar!
The event is free public entry and runs with music from local DJ´s, the best cheerleaders worldwide and Clinics, Beach Soccer Foundation activities, promotions and giveaways.
