The numbers have been calculated and there have been shifts to the Overall World Ranking Presented by Power Horse
More friendlies have been played and the final tournaments of the year are coming up and the updated numbers reflect many changes in the Overall World Ranking Presented by Power Horse. The Ranking consists of all matches played over the last four years, including exhibitions, FIFA Beach Soccer World Cups, qualifiers, BSWW Tour events, and everything in between. The most recent games are more heavily weighted and obviously wins in the events like the World Cup and Samsung Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup Dubai, and the latter happens to begin in one day, so the teams will again shift in the coming months.
The biggest mover this month, taking into account all points from November 2011 through September 2015, is Trinidad and Tobago. The team from the Caribbean recently disposed of all competition in the Lucayan Cup 2015. The Cup took place in the Bahamas, where the next FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will take place in 2017, and it featured the current CONCACAF champions Mexico, to go along with the Lucayan winners Trinidad. Trinidad and Toboggans defeated Mexico and the hosts to secure a substantial amount of points and moved up two places, giving them the biggest jump of the month.
Top-10 giants like Russia, Portugal, Brazil, Italy, Tahiti, Switzerland, Iran, Mexico, Spain, and Paraguay, in that order, remained the same, but that is because of their constant participation in high-quality events. The upcoming Samsung Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup Dubai 2015 from November 3rd-7th will factor in heavily in November’s ranking as it features the current World Cup winner, Portugal, and the best from each Confederation. The list also includes the UAE, hosts, Tahiti, from Oceania, Russia, European Qualifier winners, Iran, one of the AFC’S best teams, Egypt, the powerful CAF representative, Argentina, and Mexico, the title holder of CONCACAF’s best.
