Group A
A.O Kefallinia win 7-2 against AD Pastéis.
Kefallinia opened the scoring right from kick-off, courtesy of Koukovinis, giving them a 1-0 lead. A three-point pass from the goalkeeper, finished again by Koukovinis, gave him his brace and his team a 2-0 cushion to close out the first period.

Koukovinis struck again early in the second period to secure his hat trick, making it three unanswered goals. Midway through the period, Katsoulis converted a spot kick to extend the lead to 4-0. With two minutes left in the period, Karakasis executed an excellent bicycle kick for the fifth goal, putting Kefallinia firmly in control heading into the final period.

Pastéis finally got on the scoreboard through Bambam, who calmly finished a rebound midway through the third period. However, their efforts were offset by an own goal that added to Kefallinia’s tally. Moments later, Andrezinho scored Pastéis’ second, but they still trailed 6-2. In the final seconds, Kefallinia’s goalkeeper, Alex, sealed the 7-2 victory with a goal of his own, capping a dominant performance.

Group B
GD União Eiriceirense win 3-2 against Cevennes Meridionales.
The Group B match between French club Cevennes Meridionales and Portugal’s GD União Eiriceirense recorded only one goal in the first period—Algarvio found the net in the opening minute to give Eiriceirense a 1-0 lead, which they held onto into the second period.

Despite both sides pushing forward, the second period saw no goals, as Eiriceirense maintained their narrow advantage.

Delamontagne’s strike for Meridionales early in the third period brought the game level at 1-1, but Jefferson responded quickly to restore Eiriceirense’s lead. Algarvio added his second of the match to provide a two-goal cushion. Raoul’s late effort for Meridionales reduced the deficit to one, but it wasn’t enough, as Eiriceirense held on for a tight 3-2 victory.

Vila Flor win 9-5 against FC Genappe.
In the second Group B match between Portugal’s Vila Flor and Belgium’s FC Genappe, Brichart’s powerful shot from the centre line and Renar’s composed finish gave Genappe a 2-0 lead midway through the first period. But efforts from Fábio Costa and Pedro brought Vila Flor’s level to 2-2. Buschema’s goal with two minutes left in the period restored Genappe’s lead, but Pedro came back to secure his brace and level the score 3-3 going into the second period.

Vila Flor’s Fábio Costa scored just seconds into the restart to put his team up 4-3. Trivelas added to the tally, and Fábio Costa completed his hat trick to extend the lead to 6-3 before the final period.

Genappe attempted a comeback. A perfect team play finished by Brichart, followed by his converted spot kick, reduced their deficit to 6-5. But Fábio Costa struck again—his fourth goal—to restore the two-goal cushion. Trivelas then converted a spot kick for his brace, making it 8-5. Finally, a goalkeeper throw was perfectly finished by Zé Henrique, sealing Vila Flor’s 9-5 victory.

Group C
Perwez BS win 3-1 against AD Torrejon.
In the opening Group C encounter between Spanish side AD Torrejon and Belgian club Perwez BS, Carrasco converted a spot kick to open the scoring four minutes into the game, and Arenas also converted his to give the Belgian side a 2-0 lead in the first period.

No goals were recorded in the second period, as Perwez held on to their advantage. Torrejon, still unable to find the net, entered the final period with a two-goal deficit.

In the third period, Torrejon finally got on the scoreboard courtesy of Viala’s perfect header from his goalkeeper’s long-range shot, reducing the deficit to one. But Carrasco struck again to restore Perwez’s two-goal cushion and seal a 3-1 victory.

Naxos BS win 6-5 against ACD O Sótão B.
The second match in Group C delivered a thrilling encounter as Italy’s Naxos BS narrowly defeated Portuguese side ACD O Sótão B. Fassari opened the scoring in the first minute, followed by Perez, who found the net twice to give Naxos a commanding 3-1 lead in the period. Rafael had temporarily equalised for Sótão B, but the Italians maintained their advantage into the second period.

Early in the second, Dinins narrowed the deficit to 3-2, but Mendes responded instantly for Naxos to make it 4-2. Perez was on fire, scoring his third goal of the game to put Naxos ahead 5-2. Rodrigo pulled one back to bring the score to 5-3 at the end of the second period.

The final period saw a spirited comeback attempt from ACD O Sótão B. Manuel scored early to make it 5-4, and Bernardo struck just two minutes later to level the game 5-5 with two minutes to go. But the decisive moment came when Perez, who was already with three goals, sealed his fourth and final goal to put Naxos back in front at 6-5, a lead they held until the final whistle.

Group E
GD Alfarim win 13-9 against Mouilleron SF.
The opening game of the Euro Winners Challenge saw Portugal’s GD Alfarim claim a dominant win over French side Mouilleron SF in a thrilling Group E encounter. Mouilleron’s BILLET headed in from a goalkeeper throw to give his side an early 1-0 lead, but Alfarim responded swiftly. Pinhal’s equaliser and Cabral’s composed finish turned the tide. El Hamdaoui drew Mouilleron level again, only for GD Alfarim to surge ahead with three more goals, including a long-range strike from goalkeeper João and a brace by Cabral. Pinhal and Andre converted from the spot, sandwiching a response from El Hamdaoui, as the first period ended 6-3 in Alfarim’s favour.

Cabral extended the lead early in the second period, notching his hat trick to make it 7-3. ANDRE’s second spot-kick added to Mouilleron’s woes. Though Bernier pulled one back for the French side, Gomes replied with another penalty conversion for GD Alfarim, securing a commanding 9-4 lead by the end of the second period.

Mouilleron tried to mount a comeback in the final period, with El Hamdaoui completing his hat trick and Billet firing in three more goals. Renaud also got on the scoresheet, but it wasn’t enough. Cabral added his fourth of the match, while Andre sealed his hat trick. Galvâo and Geraldo capped off Alfarim’s relentless attacking display to close out a 13-9 victory.

Fran Mejias win 4-2 against Casa Benfica Viseu.
Spain’s Fran Mejías edged past Portugal’s Casa Benfica Viseu in the second Group E game. The Spanish side opened scoring midway through the first period, thanks to a stunning scissor-kick finish from Cassano. However, an own goal in the final minute allowed CB Viseu to equalise, ending the period at 1–1.

Joselito restored Fran Mejías’s lead in the second period with a composed finish. But Viseu responded through Lucas to make it 2–2. Just before the break, Badr netted Fran Mejías’s third, giving the home side a narrow edge going into the final third.

In the last period, Fran Mejías’s goalkeeper showed remarkable confidence, venturing out of his area to support the attack. His assist set up Alvaro for an acrobatic finish that sealed the match at 4–2, ensuring Fran Mejías got off to a winning start in the Euro Winners Challenge.
