Group A
Portugal win 2-0 against Estonia.
Portugal secured a hard-fought victory over Estonia, delivering a tense and intense encounter. Bernardo opened the scoring with a late goal in the first period to give the Portuguese side an early lead.

Coimbra continued the momentum with a decisive strike in the second period, doubling the lead to 2-0 as Estonia failed to find the net.

In the final period, Portugal held firm with a solid defensive display, maintaining their two-goal advantage to clinch the win against a determined Estonian side.

Switzerland win 12-3 against Georgia.
Switzerland delivered a commanding 12-3 victory over Georgia in an electrifying clash. Hodel opened the scoring just two minutes in, with Steinemann and Borer adding to the tally, though Partenadze and Makharadze responded for Georgia to keep it 3-2 after the first period.

In the second period, Switzerland surged ahead with five more goals. Knöpfli and Gmür scored, Borer added a brace, and Hodel completed his hat-trick, while Georgia’s only reply came from Partenadze, trailed 8-3.

In the final period, an own goal by Georgia boosted Switzerland’s lead, and Gmür and Knöpfli each netted their braces, with Borer sealing his hat-trick for a resounding 12-3 win.

Belarus win 6-1 against Germany.
Belarus secured a dominant victory over Germany in an intense showdown. Ryabko found the net midway through the first period, but Germany levelled the score at 1-1 with Peterson’s effort, only for Bokach’s late goal to give Belarus a 2-1 lead by the end of the period.

In the second period, Ustinovich added one, and Ryabko struck again, boosting Belarus’s lead to 4-1, while Germany failed to find the net.

In the final period, Hapon and Chaikouski sealed the emphatic 6-1 win for Belarus.

Czechia win 6-5 against Türkiye.
Czechia edged Türkiye in an action-packed encounter. The first period saw four goals, with Trampota and Vales gave Czechia a 2-0 lead, only for Ege’s late brace to level the score at 2-2 heading into the second period.
