The European League experiences a new chapter in France, with the Superfinal and the Promotional final in the horizon
After some years out of the circuit, France comes back to the highest-level Beach Soccer Circus, with the third stage of the Euro Beach Soccer League. From 21st to 23rd of Europe, the city of Valènce (Drôme) will witness a terrific fight between eight of the best teams in the Old Continent.
As regularly happens in most of the Euro Beach Soccer League stage, the competition will consist on a Division A and a Division B group. Portugal, Switzerland and Spain, together with hosts France, will take part in the fight of the top-flight Division in the Parc Jean Perdrix, trying to secure a place in the Euro Beach Soccer Superfinal.
But the panorama is widely different for these four contenders. Whereas Spain will be making their debut in the season, France will need to earn some points in this stage they are hosting if they want to skip the Promotion Final. After not being able to collect any points in their first stage in Kiev, Les Bleus will bank on the support of their crowd, which never let them down when playing at home soil, to assault as much units as possible. The ticket to the Superfinal is still in their hands, indeed.
Portugal, with their stunning performance last weekend in Terracina, where they won their three games for a laudable 9-points record, are virtually qualified for the Superfinal and will do their best to get to Torredembarra in the best possible position. Switzerland, instead, did not take a satisfactory enough booty in Kiev, and will need to make the most of their possibilities in Valence if they want to secure the chance of defending their European Crown in Torredembarra.
Things are much more clear-cut in Division B, where Andorra, England, Moldova and Czech Republic depart on equal conditions in the battle for the two slots in the Promotion Final, in which Israel and Turkey have already sealed a berth.
