El Salvador Beach Soccer Cup returns in April

2026 edition to take place in Costa del Sol with a strong line-up

Between 2 and 4 April, Costa del Sol will host some of the world’s top beach soccer performers, as they compete in the El Salvador Beach Soccer Cup 2026, an event jointly organised by Beach Soccer Worldwide and El Salvador’s National Sports Institute (Instituto Nacional de los Deportes de El Salvador – INDES).

World champions Brazil headline the men’s tournament, where they will face hosts El Salvador, Colombia and Denmark.

In the women’s competition, Euro Beach Soccer League champions Portugal will be joined by Brazil, Mexico and the defending champions hosts El Salvador.

Yamil Bukele, Ad-Honorem President of INDES, commented:

“We are delighted to host this fourth edition of the El Salvador Beach Soccer Cup. It is a source of great pride for us to support beach soccer, not only in the men’s competition but also in the women’s.”

Joan Cuscó, President of Beach Soccer Worldwide, stated:

“The passion of beach soccer fans in El Salvador challenges us to deliver an event worthy of their enthusiasm, and this edition of the El Salvador Beach Soccer Cup will once again meet the high standards this competition has become known for. It is always a pleasure to collaborate with INDES, whose professionalism in the management of sport is exemplary worldwide.”

Joan Cuscó added:

“We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Yamil Bukele for his leadership and cooperation throughout this collaboration. His commitment and professionalism have been instrumental in the continued success of our joint projects, and we are confident that he will bring the same dedication and vision to his new role as President of the Salvadoran Football Federation. We wish him every success in this new chapter of his career.”

This will be the fourth edition of the El Salvador Beach Soccer Cup, following the successful tournaments held in 2022, 2024 and 2025. In the most recent edition, Portugal lifted the men’s trophy, while the women’s title remained at home with hosts El Salvador.
