Defending champions Kristall reach quarter-finals after scoring ten in final group match
The last round of group games saw the favourites make the final eight as Kristall and Lokomotiv win big.
Moscow rivals Spartak and CSKA tussled in a city derby which ended in penalties, as both made the quarter-finals to face Delta and Nika.
Defending Russian Cup champions Kristall put 10 past TEKHNOMARKET64 to also reach the next round, while Angelo Schirinzi, who was today named in the 12-coach shortlist of the Best Coaches of the Year, will face Lex in the final eight.
Lokomotiv went one better than Kristall to score 11 against LOKS-Air, and will take on Krylia Sovetov in the next round.
The quarter-final matches will take place on Friday 24 September.
