Oman, Palestine and Libya also book their spots in the knockout stages
The group stages of the Arab Beach Soccer Cup in Jeddah, came to a close yesterday, as Egypt defeated Palestine 3-2 to win Group B and Oman secured second place in the group with an astounding 14-0 victory over Kyrgyzstan. Despite finishing in third place, Palestine qualified for the quarter-finals as one of the best third-placed teams, along with Mauritania.
In Group C, United Arab Emirates followed suit with Egypt, as they won their group after a 7-4 win against Kuwait, and Libya beat Comoros 6-5.
