Catania have won their third Coppa Italia in a row. The Sicilian club defeated Pisa from the penalty spot in the final on Sunday.
There were 28 games played over the four days, and 228 goals scored, in the Beach Soccer Coppa Italia, which took place over four days at the Alsa Beach Stadium in Mugnano di Napoli in Naples.
It was their fifth Coppa in total, and the big international beach soccer names such as Azzurri number 10 Gabriele Gori, Portuguese Be Martins, German Christian Biermann and Brazilian Bokinha were among the impressive squad who lifted the trophy.
Gori, with two goals, and Be Martins scored during normal time in the final, but they were cancelled out by a brace for Brazilian Datinha and Di Palma.
It was from the penalty spot that the winner was decided, as Gori and Be Martins were clinical once again to snatch the victory.
Happy Car Sambenedettese defeated Terracina to third place with a 2-0 win.
