Historic landmark as the women’s team trains for the first time at the home of all Brazilian national teams (football, beach soccer and futsal)
On Tuesday morning (10), the Brazil women’s beach soccer national team experienced another historic moment. For the first time since the team was established in 2019, the squad trained on the sand pitch at Granja Comary — the home of all Brazilian national teams (football, beach soccer and futsal).

Under the guidance of head coach Rose Andrade, the 12 selected players carried out their first technical and tactical sessions of this week-long training camp.

“This training cycle will be important for the technical staff to collect key performance metrics from our players at the start of the year. We have major competitions in the calendar, and having detailed information on each athlete will be fundamental. This week goes beyond training alone. We have brought in specialised professionals to further enhance the high-performance development of these players,” said Lavoisier Freire, Beach Soccer Manager at the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).
Team supervisor Gisele Fernandes echoed Lavoisier’s words: “For the first time, we are here making full use of and benefiting from the entire Granja Comary structure — everything that the CBF provides for its national teams. This is the first call-up of the year and allows Coach Rose Andrade to assess how prepared our players are for the important competitions ahead. We are extremely grateful to President Samir Xaud, our Director Mauro Carmélio and our Manager Lavoisier Freire, who spared no effort in making this historic moment for women’s beach soccer possible”.
Until next Friday (13), Coach Rose Andrade and her technical staff will aim to make the most of the training camp. The objective is to have the squad fully prepared for the 2026 calendar, which already includes confirmed international competitions such as the El Salvador Beach Soccer Cup, scheduled to take place from 2 to 4 April
