Hosts Argentina miss out to clinical Brazil in the Juegos Suramericanos de Playa beach soccer final
Brazil claimed yet another title on Saturday, with a decisive victory against hosts Argentina, to be named beach soccer champions at the 2019 Juegos Suramericanos de Playa in Rosario.

In the opening 12 minutes of the final, Brazil immediately burst into action and netted four, with Filipe, Datinha, Antônio and Rodrigo getting their names on the scoresheet.
In the next period, there was more domination to follow, as Filipe netted another and then Nelito scored a sixth. Datinha found the net once again and Thanger scored to seal the gold medal and Argentina had to settle for a consolation goal and the silver medal, helping the country to top the medal charts in the Juegos Suramericanos de Playa.
A tight game against Paraguay saw Colombia clinch the bronze with a 6-5 victory, and in the day’s other beach soccer match-up, Uruguay beat Ecuador 8-6 to finish in fifth-place.
