Brazil and Argentina start Liga Sudamericana with wins

The defending champions and the Albiceleste edged Peru and Bolivia in both senior and U19 categories

South American giants Brazil and Argentina lead a consistent beginning of the Liga Sudamericana de Fútbol Playa CONMEBOL, with both their U19 and Senior teams grasping big wins. 

The defending champions Brazil had their youngsters kick start the competition against Peru with a 6-2 win that gave them the first points at stake. The Senior side rounded a perfect afternoon with a wide 7-3 win over their Peruvian counterparts.

Argentina, in turn, dominated their two games against Bolivia. Although the U19 side had to struggle to prevail over Bolivia, the senior side made things clearer against La Verde, with a 10-3 win that allow the Albiceleste tiop the table.   

 

These were the results yesterday: 

Brazil U19  6-2 Peru U19

Argentina U19 7-5 Bolivia U19

Brazil 7-3 Peru

Argentina 10-3 Bolivia

 

The competition goes on today, with four more matches at Rosario’s Caribe Canalla (Argentina), and with Chile making their debut in this Liga Sudamericana de Fútbol Playa CONMEBOL – Cono Sur.
