England secure second win
England win 5-1 against Bahamas.
The opening goal of the match went to England as Jade turned the ball into her own net and with less than two minutes of the first period, Barron doubled the lead for the Lionesses.
Ferguson pulled a goal back for Bahamas in the opening minutes of the second period, before Marshall scored her fourth goal of the competition to regain the two-goal advantage.
Marshall and Buckingham completed England’s victory in the third period, moving their nation up to four points.
A first victory for USA
USA defeat El Salvador 5-2.
After a staggering victory on the opening day, El Salvador faced a USA side who suffered defeat on penalties on day one.
It was a strong first period for USA, striking three times through Witteman, Chronopoulos and Quigley, as El Salvador netted courtesy of Cordero.
Witteman scored her second goal of the match and the only goal of the second period, giving USA a 4-1 lead. El Salvador struck the back of the net early in the third and final period, as Witteman netted her third for the hat-trick and USA secured their first win of the El Salvador Beach Soccer Cup 2024.
