Beach Soccer Worldwide and the Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol to jointly define the route map to take Beach Soccer competitions in the region to the next level
Beach Soccer keep siding with the key stakeholders in global football to keep in line with the official task brought on since many years ago. Besides the long-term agreement signed years ago with the global football governing body, FIFA, Beach Soccer Worldwide keep reaching agreements with the different confederations, so to guarantee that the growth of the sport, its implementation and development programs are driven under the most official and professional parameters.
After the preliminary agreement signed some weeks ago with AFC, a new agreement was outlined last week with the Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol, CONMEBOL, after a meeting at the body headquarters in Luque (Paraguay).
This agreement seeks to strengthen the already excellent relationships between Beach Soccer Worldwide and CONMEBOL. Despite both bodies have been working perfectly in the last years, the plan now is to boost this collaboration, and to study new opportunities for the development of the sport in the region, including new competitions, new seminars, new courses, etc.
All National Associations were represented in the meeting, attended by Juan Ángel Napout, first vice-president of CONMEBOL, Romer Osuna, Genreal Manager of CONMEBOL, Hugo Figueredo, CONMEBOL Director of Competitions, Damian Dupiellet, Beach Soccer Director in AFA and CONMEBOL, Donald García, president of the Federación Boliviana de Futbol, Luiz Flaviano Furtado, Beach Soccer Coordinator in Confederaçao Brasilera de Futbeol, Luis Alberto Ramírez, Director of Development of the Federación de Fútbol de Chile, Juan Alejandro Hernández, Federación Colombiana de Fútbol Committee member, Carlos Estrada, Executive Committee member of the Federación Ecuatoriana de Fútbol, Miguel Ángel Fretes, Beach Soccer President of the Federación Paraguaya de Fútbol, Jaime Drago Maturo, member of the FPF, Ricardo Abracinskas, Member of the Beach Soccer Committee of the Asociación Uruguaya de Futbol, Rafael Almarza, president of the Beach Soccer and Futsal Committee of the Federación Venezolana de Futbol, and Josep Ponset, Head of Competitions of Beach Soccer Worldwide.
