Romania and Malta complete the podium as three more teams qualify for the Promotion Final in Viareggio
Kazakhstan emerged victorious in the Division B stage of the Euro Beach Soccer League 2025 in Castellammare di Stabia, securing top spot. Romania and Malta claimed second and third place respectively, as all three nations earned qualification for the EBSL Promotion Final in Viareggio. They will join Lithuania, Azerbaijan, and Belgium, who advanced from the earlier stage in Andalucia, setting the scene for a high-stakes showdown in pursuit of Division A status.
Kazakhstan win 5-4 against Malta.
Malta got off to a flying start as Caruana opened the scoring midway through the first period, giving his side a 1–0 lead at the break.

Early in the second period, Nezar doubled their advantage just two minutes after the restart. Although Kurbanov pulled one back for Kazakhstan, Malta quickly restored their cushion as Caruana and Nezar both netted again to establish a strong 4–1 lead. Kazakhstan’s Minba reduced the deficit to 4–2.
In the final period, the comeback was completed dramatically with goals from Demes and Dering levelling the score, before Kaizer fired home the winner in the dying moments. A late surge and resilient spirit saw Kazakhstan snatch all three points.
Romania win 7-6 against Norway
Romania edged Norway in a thrilling encounter that began at a slow pace, with both teams managing a goal each in the first period. Skotty opened the scoring for Norway, but Maci responded to level things up before the break.

The second period saw the tempo rise dramatically. Norway regained the lead just seconds after the restart through Paulos, but Romania replied with a flurry, Andrei, Scciu, and a second from Maci turned the game around, giving Romania a 4–2 advantage heading into the final stretch.
In the third period, both sides went all out. Poste and Toma added their names to the scoresheet, while Maci completed his hat-trick for Romania. Norway fought back with goals from Ljosa, Gaare, and braces from Paulos and Skotty, but Romania held firm to seal a narrow 7–6 victory.
