2nd Spyros Avramis Cup kicks off today in Patras

The 2nd Spyros Avramis International Cup gets underway in Patras, Greece today!

This event is in memory of the Napoli Patron player, Spyros Avramis, who tragically passed away in 2017.

Competing in the event are four well-known beach soccer clubs, all of whom took part in the 2021 Euro Winners Cup: hosts Napoli Patron BSC (GRE), Danish champions Copenhagen, German championship finalists Rostocker Robben and three-time French champions, Marseille.

The Beach Soccer ARENA Spyros Avramis will be the venue for the three-day tournament, which runs from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September.

Ten games will be played in total and will feature many top international beach soccer players from across Europe.

There will also be a women’s beach soccer match played on Sunday between teams from Patras and Achaia.
