CONCACAF Reveals Logo, Sets Official Draw for a record-breaking Beach Soccer Championship El Salvador 2015
The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) today revealed the logo and announced plans for the official draw for the 2015 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship (FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2015 – CONCACAF Qualifier El Salvador), scheduled for March 28 – April 4 in El Salvador.
The draw will take place on Tuesday, January 27 at the Intercontinental Real San Salvador at 10 am local time (11 am ET). The proceedings will determine the schedule and groups for the Beach Soccer Championship, which features a record 16 teams from across the CONCACAF region. The event will be streamed live on CONCACAF.com and beachsoccer.com.
The nations programmed to participate in the quest for this year’s CONCACAF Beach Soccer crown include host El Salvador, as well as Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Costa Rica, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, United States, and the US Virgin Islands.
In addition to the regional title, the 16 participating Member Associations are battling for one of two places in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Portugal 2015, to be played this July. The 2017 edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will be hosted by CONCACAF Member Association the Bahamas.
In announcing details of the draw, CONCACAF and the Local Organizing Committee also revealed the logo for the competition.
