Teams will be drawn into their respective groups for the competition
Ahead of the upcoming Women’s Euro Beach Soccer League competition in Nazaré, Portugal, taking place between 30th August and 1st September 2024, the eight participating nations will be drawn into two groups containing four teams in the official draw on Thursday 8th August at 13:00 (UTC +2).
As the host nation for the upcoming competition, Portugal have been seeded as A1, whilst the Women’s Euro Beach Soccer League 2023 champions, Spain will be seeded in place B1 in the draw. The six remaining teams have been seeded in positions three to six, with the positioning in the Women’s Euro Beach Soccer League 2023 being taken into consideration.
Pot 1 in the draw will contain Poland and Czechia, Pot 2 consists of Ukraine and Netherlands and England and Switzerland make up Pot 3.
In the official draw, teams will be drawn into Groups A and B in alternating order. For example, the first team chosen from Pot 1 will be placed in position A2 and the second team placed in B2, as the two teams from Pot 2 will be placed in spots A3 and B3, and finally Pot 3 teams placed in A4 and B4.
