This year's competition takes place from the 9th to the 14th September
The historical beach soccer location of Viareggio, Italy, will host the 2025 and 2026 editions of the Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal as men’s and women’s national teams will compete for continental glory at the “Matteo Valenti” Beach Stadium. This year’s competition is set to take place from the 9th to the 14th September.
The events will be hosted by Beach Soccer Worldwide with the collaboration of Città di Viareggio and Viareggio Beach Soccer, with the support of both the Toscana Regional Committee of the FIGC and Ferdinando Arcopinto, Head of Delegation of the Italian Beach Soccer National Team FIGC.
Joan Cuscó, President of Beach Soccer Worldwide, highlighted the significance of hosting the Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal in a city with such a rich history of beach soccer.
“We are delighted to be bringing the crucial final stage of the Euro Beach Soccer League to Viareggio for the next two years. Former Euro Winners Cup champions Viareggio Beach Soccer have been a very successful club from the city and the location has produced some incredible Italian beach soccer talent throughout the years!
“The crowds in Toscana are always fantastic, so bringing one of our biggest competitions to the location felt like an incredible opportunity.”
Rodolfo Salemi, Sports Councillor of the Municipality of Viareggio, was overjoyed to be hosting the competition in the city.
“The growth of sporting events goes hand in hand with that of the city: we are adding another top-level event to our calendar. The Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal will bring a significant economic boost and outstanding media exposure, thanks also to live broadcasts by Rai and TV stations across Europe.
“This is a particularly positive moment for Viareggio. As a municipal administration, we had no hesitation in providing full support to Farmaè Viareggio, a club made up of serious, competent, and passionate people.”
