Lebanon brought today a breed and determination lesson, when turning a very difficult score around against Bahrain to end up clinching the first points at stake in group C. Little chances seemed left for them when Marhoon, Almughawi and Ebrahim built an apparently comfortable 4-0, just as it seemed when Yusuf cut the Lebanese reaction with the 5-2. But Moghaddam’s side fielded an iron-made spirit today, beating all difficulties and swimming against the current to finally turn around a score that few would consider attainable.
