Top-flight Beach Soccer hits Egypt as of this Monday

The International Beach Soccer – Egypt Sharm El Sheikh 2015 will have six teams competing by the Red Sea

The beautiful seaside resort of Sharm El Sheik will be hosting the first edition of the International Beach Soccer tournament, happening between Monday 8th and Friday 12th of June. Egypt, then, joins the world beach soccer top fligh circuit, with a friendly event featuring six national sides: Together with hosts Egypt, European powerhouses Hungary, England and Romania, and Kuwait and Lebanon coming from Asia will be vying by the Red Sea in this first-ever competition in the land of the Pharaohs.

The competition format for this competition has the six teams divided into two groups of three, with Egypt, Kuwait and England drawn in group A, and Lebanon, Hungary and Romania, in group B. The best two ranked sides of each group will advance to semi-finals.

15:00 – 3rd group A vs 3rd Group B

16:15 – 1st group A vs 2nd Group B

17:15 – 1st group B vs 2nd Group A

Friday, 12th of June

15:45 – Play-off for 3rd place

16:45 – FINAL
