The Beach Soccer Foundation activities during the Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup 2026

During the Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup 2026, The Beach Soccer Foundation once again reinforced its commitment to using sport as a platform for social and environmental impact, organizing a series of meaningful activities aligned with its core pillars.

On April 8th, the Foundation hosted a Kids Day, highlighting the inclusive and educational power of beach soccer. The activity consisted of a beach soccer clinic involving a total of 66 children: 27 children from DIF program and 39 children from local clubs, including Club de Fútbol Plan de los Amates and Club de Fútbol Petaquillas. The clinic provided a unique opportunity for participants to engage in physical activity, learn the fundamentals of beach soccer, and interact with players and coaches in a fun and supportive environment.

On April 10th, the Foundation carried out two important environmental initiatives. A sea turtle release took place, symbolizing the Foundation’s dedication to environmental protection and marine life conservation. This activity contributed to local biodiversity efforts while also raising awareness about the importance of protecting coastal ecosystems.

Later that morning, a beach clean-up was organized, bringing together volunteers and participants to help preserve the natural beauty of Acapulco’s shoreline. This initiative reflects one of the Foundation’s key pillars: promoting environmental responsibility through collective action and education.

On April 11th, the Foundation also organized an educational seminar delivered by the head coach of the Brazilian men’s national beach soccer team, Chicão. The seminar focused on the development of young athletes and explored how key factors such as psychological preparation, nutrition, and training influence performance and overall development. It provided valuable insights into what it takes to reach high performance levels and highlighted the importance of a holistic approach in youth athlete development.

Through these activities, The Beach Soccer Foundation continues to demonstrate how beach soccer can go beyond competition, serving as a tool for education, inclusion, and positive environmental impact. By combining sport with purpose, the Foundation remains committed to creating lasting value in the communities it reaches.
