The Swiss beat the Bahamas and Turks & Caicos Islands in friendlies on Saturday.
As the countdown continues to the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2017 in the Bahamas, the competition’s hosts, Switzerland and the Turks & Caicos Islands held a series of friendly matches at the weekend.
The competition will run on the pristine sands of Nassau from April 27th until May 7th this year, with eight of the 16 teams already confirmed.

The world’s sixth-ranked side were 13-7 winners in the opening match of their Caribbean training camp, with Noel Ott, Dejan Stankovic, Glenn Hodel, Tobias Steinemann and Schirinzi all on target.
Turks & Caicos were next up to face the Swiss but they went down 10-4 – Hodel scoring five, while Ott and Steinemann hit a hat-trick and a brace respectively.
Stankovic was back on the scoresheet in the final match of the day as Switzerland ran out 7-1 victors against Turks & Caicos – Benjamin Looser, Ott and Hodel also on target.
