La Roja defeated Czechia in nail-biting clash
Action continues in the 2023 edition of the Women’s NEOM Beach Soccer Cup with Spain and Czechia taking it to the sand in what was the European champions debut in the competition. The hard-fought all-European clash went 4-3 in favour of Spain.

Czechs force Spain until the end

Radim Nečas’s team couldn’t have asked for a better start as his team went 2-0 up in the first period with two goals that suffered deflections on Spain’s Lydia and Andrea Mirón.
The second period would see Alcaide and Andrea Mirón equalise for Spain, leaving all decisions to be made in the final twelve minutes of the match.
Sara Tui scored four minutes into the third period, confirming Spain’s comeback, but a well-placed free-kick by Hrušková leveled the score again.
With less than three minutes to play, Cris found the back of the net, and claimed all three points for the Spaniards.
