World Champions reedit last year’s glory as Germany prevails in Division B. France is sent to Promotion Final
Russia got back again to the familiar picture of lifting cups, after a new uncontestable victory over Romania in the decider of the Power Horse Euro Beach Soccer League Berlin 2012. Their 9 out of 9 points plus +11 goal difference meant the best way for Likhachev’s side to find themselves with good sensations after Spain snatched them the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2013 – Qualifier Moscow Cup.
Romania wanted to make the most of their possibilities to the trophy in the game, and tried to challenge the World Champions since the very beginning, even finding the match’s opener. But Boata’s cheekiness was heavily punished by the Russian, who severely counteracted with a 7-0 run that definitely unleveled the balance and crushed any Romanian expectation.
Shishin, with four goals today was again the main weapon for the defending champions, who get to The Hague to defend their crown without having missed a single point in the regular stage. The brilliant performance by the Russian number 6 rounded his 7-goal records by the o2 World, and merited him both the MVP and Top scorer awards.

The Mannschaft rounds the party
Germany closed this Power Horse Euro Beach Soccer League Berlin 2012 in a brilliant manner, completing the terrific job they have been doing since the beginning of the competition and bending Turkey to miss none of the points they have fought for. There is no doubt that the busy weeks the Mannschaft have been undergoing have made them grow as a team, and they will get to The Hague in their best version of the last seasons, seeing the dream of getting to Division A closer than ever.
The Germany-Turkey is another of those traditionally tasty football rivalries, and it is absolutely the same on the sand. The players extra motivation brought a wonderful spectacle with two teams fighting honestly and restlessly for the last points at stake. None of them had nothing more than the actual pride at stake, as their positions were already decided in the table, but pride is a significant enough good to fight for.
After a goalless first half, Thürk amazingly opened the score by mid second time, with an unbelievable volley from the halfway line against which Ahmed nothing could do. Another of the German key players, Ulle widened the gap with to new hits, leaving their captain, Olli, to have the last say for the team. Adil replied for Turkey but one minutes and tree goals to counteract were way too much for the Ottoman.
Goals: 1-0: Thürk, min. 6 (2); 2-0: Ulle, min. 5 (2); 3-0: Ulle, min. 7 (3); 4-0: Olli, min. 1 (3); 4-1: Adil, min. 1 (3)
Italy condemns France
The French National Team was finally forced to play the Euro Beach Soccer League Promotion final late this month in The Hague. The dramatic match against Italy left Les Bleus with no points at all after all their matches in the regular phase of the European season, what got them necessarily playing to defend their Division A berth. Instead, the Azzurri, with six points will need to wait the conclusion of the event in Torredembarra to see if their records are enough to get amongst the best six.
The match was loaded with intensity yet from the anthems. Every single ball was fought as if it was the last one, and that brought several moments in which sparkles flew. And, besides that intensity and pace, this Italy-France was packed with goals. Fourteen hits were split between the Italian and the French, adding even more value to a such a traditional sportive battle amongst the two neighbours.
The control of the game shifted hands several times, as well. First, it was Les Bleus the ones getting ahead, but Italy firmly counteracted to rule for most of the fixture’s first half. After that, the moment came for François’ lads to get hold of the game reins, only to see, though, the Italians paying the 4-0 run back, what finally got Esposito’s side conquering the points. The final whistle, with 8-6 up in the score, condemned France to their third consecutive Promotion Final. Italy will have to have an attentive look on Torredembarra…

Elvin’s hat-trick gives Azerbaijan insufficient 3 points
Azerbaijan clinched their sixth points in this Division B pool of the Power Horse Euro Beach Soccer League Berlin 2012, but their goal average records turn to be not enough to access the promotion final. Only the best second ranked team in the three regular phase events will have a place to fight for Promotion in The Hague, and Hatamov’s side, with a +3, is already behind Czech Republic, who got a +7 down in Terracina. Greece, in turn, does not even match the point barrier.
Apart from the momentary 2-1 by Paris by mid first period, the Hellenic repeatedly found themselves down in the score. Elvin was specially inspired for the Azeri today, and his hat-trick ended up making the difference in the game. With two new goals in the last period, Azerbaijan dropped the curtain of their season, and Greece’s, in this Euro Beach Soccer League 2012, as none of them earned a place in the Promotion Final.
Goals: 0-1: Hikmat, min. 7 (1); 1-1: Papastathopoulos, min. 7 (1); 2-1: Paris, min. 3 (1); 2-2: Elvin, min. 2 (1); 2.3: Elvin, min. 4 (2); 3-3: Paris, min. 2 (2); 3-4: Asif, min. 0 (2); 3-5: Elvin, min. 8 (3); 3-6: Jomrad, min. 4 (3);
