The Moscow side beat their Nika rivals on penalties in the final on Saturday
In the final match of the tournament, the winner of the main trophy of the First Division was determined. The bright and dramatic game between Nika and a more clinical Rosich was a final to remember.
The start of the match was fiery as Muscovites took the lead after just 20 seconds. Their star man Stepan Surmilo scored four by the time the three periods were over but Nika were level at 5-5.
No goals were scored in extra time, and the winner was determined in a penalty shootout. Rosich were accurate all three times, but Imran Vissarigov missed the first shot for Nika, and Rosich won a huge victory in the final, which was amazing in its intensity and drama.
In the match for third place, it was also difficult to determine the bronze medallists, as Lex from Saint Petersburg just overcame Kronshtadt-Promenad by three goals to two.
The Top Scorer of the tournament was Stepan Surmilo (Nika). Kirill Kirillov (Rosich) received the award as the Best Goalkeeper. Nika’s Stepan Surmilo was named the Best Player in the competition.
