Portuguese duo arm Al Ahli

Madjer and Belchior to boost the attack of the Red Knights in the Mundialito de Clubes, together with other UAE internationals

Al Ahli have recently confirmed that the Portuguese magicians Madjer and Bruno Belchior will be part of the squad travelling to Rio de Janeiro for the III Mundialito de Clubes.  The 2013 European runner-ups will team up with a set of Emirati internationals, regulars to the Marcelo Mendes-steered UAE National side, such as Adel, Ali Karim or Alhammadi, amongst others.

This way, the two Portuguese aces extend their compromise with the UAE champions, with who they already won the last edition of the National League. Whereas Madjer have been playing for the Dubai-based club for the last two seasons, the 2012-2013 League was the first one for Belchior. The talented forward did not find it any difficult to find his place on the Emirati sand, though, as he was named the Most Valuable Player of the UAE Beach Soccer National League after the final, held last March.

With an experienced yet young team, Al Ahli will try to succeed in the Group A of the competition, together with 2011 champions Vasco da Gama, FC Barcelona and Botafogo. Precisely, the carioca side will first opponents for the Emirati (13th of November, at 13:30h, Rio de Janeiro local time).
