Portugal and Spain to Play the Women’s Euro Beach Soccer League 2025 Final!

The stage is set for the Women’s Euro Beach Soccer League 2025 final in Viareggio, as Portugal and Spain secured their places with semifinal victories over Ukraine and Poland, respectively. Both sides now stand just one win away from lifting the continental crown. In the 5/6 place playoff, Italy defeated Switzerland to claim fifth spot in the competition.

Semi-final
Portugal win 3-1 against Ukraine
Portugal Beat Ukraine to Reach Back-to-Back Finals. Ukraine took the lead late in the opening period through Kostiuk, but Portugal responded, with Martin equalising in the final seconds to make it 1-1 at the break.

The second period remained tightly contested until Inês struck to put Portugal ahead 2-1. Despite Ukraine’s pressure, the Portuguese defence stood strong and kept their advantage going into the final period.

In the last seconds of the game, Inês found the net again to complete her brace, sealing a 3-1 victory and sending Portugal into their second consecutive Women’s Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal final.

Spain win 2-0 against Poland
Spain secured a spot in the finals with a win over Poland. The Spanish side took a 1-0 lead early in the first period, benefiting from Poland’s own goal. Laia added a second for the Spanish side before the period ended, giving them a comfortable advantage.

The second period saw both teams press hard, but neither could find the net as defences held strong. Spain maintained their 2-0 lead heading into the final period.

The third period produced no further goals, and Spain held on to claim a 2-0 victory, booking their place in the Women’s Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal final alongside Portugal.

Play-off (5/6 place)
Italy win 4-1 against Switzerland
Switzerland struck first through Küffer just two minutes into the game, but Italy quickly turned things around with two goals from Illiano and another from Ciccar to end the first period 3-1 in their favour.

The second period saw no goals, with both teams battling hard but unable to find the net. Italy held firm to protect its 3-1 advantage heading into the final period.

Midway through the third period, Veglio added a fourth for the Azzurre, sealing a 4-1 win to claim fifth Place.
