Overall World Rankings have been updated

More and more tournaments and surprising upsets in the established events have created shifts in the rankings

The Euro Beach Soccer League has finished and the heart of the season has culminated in some exciting changes to the teams at the top and the bottom. The top ten had a big shakeup as Tahiti dropped from 4th to 12th. El Salvador topped from 7th to 11th but the upward moves were just as interesting with Switzerland, runner-ups at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Portugal 2015 Europe Qualifier Jesolo – Italy, going from 8th to 3rd. Spain stayed in the five, clinging to the spot, just ahead of Argentina. A strong season from the British has them sitting at the 25 spot, and they have steadily moved up the rankings this season.

The rankings are very fluid and constantly changing as the rankings take into account the amount of events played, hosted, and of course the results. Friendly matches carry weight as well, though the World Cup Qualifiers hold more sway in the final standings. The season is not yet over as there are more exciting and prestigious tournaments to be played and we will have all the information and updates you need.
