Rogerio Vilela, CR Flamengo coach, presented a new manual on high-performance Beach Soccer techniques
The study and investigation about beach soccer keeps growing at the same pace the sport is stating its place among the high-performance disciplines. In just a matter of months, two publications dealing with technical and tactical approaches to the most attractive version of “the Beautiful Game” have seen the light.
The latter of them is “Beach Soccer. Methods and techniques for initialization to High-performance”, by Rogerio Vilela de Abreu, CR Flamengo coach during the last Mundialito de Clubes, assisted by former Brazil and Trinidad & Tobago coach Alexandre Soares and Raimundo Nonato de Azevedo, an expert in Physical training.
Under the Portuguese title “Beach Soccer. Métodos e técnicas da iniciaçao ao alto rendimento”, this manual offers a wide range of informations for both amateur and professional beach soccer players and coaches. Based on the sport’s history, rules, physical elements, and psychology, including an excellent load of tactical observation, Vilela’s efforts seek to draw the line for potential beach soccer projects, from schools and training camps to elite teams and clubs, with attention to all elements of training and preparation.
The volume is co-edited by Colina Editora and Paginas do Brazil, and is only available in Portuguese, for the moment. For more information regarding the book please contact any of the two editorials: [email protected] or [email protected].
