Praia de Rocha in Portimao (portugal) is ready to welcome again one of the most spectacular Beach Soccer events all over the world: The BSWW Mundialito. The Lusitanian arena will witness again the legendary clash between Portugal and Brazil, undisputed masters of this top-flight tournament. Argentina and the USA will also get on board to complete such a terrific showdown to be held this weekend (6th-8th August).
Hosts Portugal, in a great shape after getting their World Cup place without hesitation in Bibione (Italy), where they got the second position after Ukraine, will do their best to retain the honours they achieved in last year’s edition, precisely in front of the Verdeamarela and only after goal average. Spain played the third major role in last piece, also with 6 points out of 9, what highlights the competitiveness of this four team, round robin tournament.
Mateu’s lads obviously find themselves among the top-class teams in the Beach Soccer Olympus, but they will find it the harder possible to add a new trophy to their collection, since the yellow monster is eager for revenge after two consecutive Mundialito defeats to the Lusitanian. The most lauded side ever feels their time has come for pay back and they do not want to miss a single opportunity to snatch the Cup back to their hands.
The tournament will take off yet in full emotion, with one of those unforgettable ball classics: the one precisely facing the Brazilians and Argentina. Portugal will set themselves in action right afterwards, with their fixture against the United States of America.
