Multiple battle get Holland and Turkey ready

Orange and Ottoman faced three times in a busy weekend in Alanya, tuning up for the upcoming European League

Euro Beach Soccer League is just round the corner. With Terracina (Italy) hosting the first event of the season next June, 8th-10th, teams are finishing their tuning up to increase their options of achieving their dreams. Two of these teams, Turkey and Netherlands are going to struggle in Division B, trying to secure a chance to fight for a Division A slot for next year, with the Dutch even hosting the Promotion Final, the door to that.

With that goal, and the hunger for a better performance than last year, the Otomoan and the Orange shared a significant part of their preparation schedule, facing in a three-leg friendly match this last weekend in Alanya (Turkey). As expected, the multiple battle amongst these two sides was absolutely balance, although the Dutch won two of the rounds.

In the first match, played on Saturday, May 19th, Kokmeijer’s lads took the win by 7-10 on extra time. After the 7-7 at the end of the regular 36  minutres, Van Gossel, Koswal and Vonden unbalanced the score finally built by Koswal (4), Van Gossel (2), Ran, Tosch, Vonden and Rawidjan for Holland and Bariç (2), Sezer(2), Kerem (2) and Onur, for Turkey.

On the second, and despite Adil’s side got in command and managed a 3-1 at the end of the second period, the Netherlanden were victorious again( 5-6). The hat trick by Ayhan Sezer plus Bariç’s double was not enough to bend the Orange determination, materialized through Koswal(2), Rawidjan (2), Van Wurt and Tosch.

It was just on the last of the matches that Turkey could finally give their crowd the win they were longing for (5-4). A great performance by captain Tamer, with three goals, plus Onur’s and Bariç’s contribution were a tougher strong than Rawidjan (2) ,Tosch and Koswal’s efforts.
