Both nations made it two from two on Tuesday, ensuring top-two places in their groups.
The CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship has its first quarter-finalists, with hosts Bahamas and holders Mexico safely ensuring top-two spots in their respective groups.
Bahamas are safely into the quarters thanks to a 3-0 victory over Belize inspires by two-goal Lesley St. Fleur, which ensures them a top-two spot in Group A while Belize have work to do ahead of their clash with Guyana.
Defending champions Mexico were the first side to progress, doing so with an 8-3 win over Canada in Group B.
Both sides picked up wins on the opening day but it was Mexico who seized the chance to secure a top-two spot in the group with a dominant second-period display and a Benjamin Jesus Mosco Mendez hat-trick helped secure the points.
Back in Group A, Jamaica kept alive their quarter-final hopes with a deserved 6-3 against Guyana.
Both sides were beaten on the opening day but Jamaica bounced back, with Rohan Reid’s treble helping condemn Guyana to a second defeat of their maiden campaign.
The first game of the day saw Guadeloupe pick up their first win thanks to a five-goal performance from Sebastien Hell.
The physical forward scored all of his side’s goals, including the winner five seconds from time, as Guadeloupe stayed alive in the competition in a thrilling contest at Malcolm Park.
El Salvador sit top of Group D after beating Turks and Caicos Islands 9-2 in their CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship opener. Having seen Panama edge Costa Rica 2-1 on penalties, the 2009 champions moved two points clear at the top with a dominant display that saw Jose Ruben Batres score a hat-trick and Heber Antonio Ramos register twice.
Panama had ended normal time level at 1-1 with 2015 finalists Costa Rica after Heimo Kastler Gomez and Gilberto Rangel scored one for each side in normal time but, following a goalless fourth period, Panama held their nerve with penalties from Rafael Garcia and Alberto Bultron.
