The 12 teams hoping to reach the final stage of the African qualifier for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will play each other in two-leg ties (home and away).
Senegal, the hosts of the final tournament which will take place in May, and Egypt have already secured places in the qualifier based on the rankings and results from the last edition, held in Egypt in 2018.
These are the match-ups of the 12 nations vying for a ticket to Senegal:
• Libya v Morocco
• Seychelles v Madagascar
• Comoros v Mozambique
• Burundi v Tanzania
• Uganda v Ghana
• DR Congo v Cote d’Ivoire
The contests will be decided over two legs. The first matches will be played on 26 and 27 March and the return games on 9 and 10 April. The country which appears first will host the first match as the home team, then the return match will be played in the country which appears second.
One nation from each of the above match-ups will join Egypt and Senegal in the final eight-team tournament, which will take place from May 23 to 29 in Senegal.
