Romania and Azerbaijan finished second and third

Lithuania were crowned champions of the Euro Beach Soccer League 2025 Division B in Viareggio after a thrilling comeback victory against Romania in the final. Azerbaijan sealed third place with a commanding victory over Kazakhstan, completing the podium alongside the runners-up Romania.

Final
Lithuania win 4-3 against Romania
Lithuania were crowned Division B champions after a thrilling comeback victory over Romania in Viareggio. Romania struck first, with Maci opening the scoring just two minutes into the match, and held the lead until Lebedevas equalised for Lithuania four minutes before the first break.

Romania regained control late in the second period through Toma, making it 2–1. Lithuania pressed hard for a reply but were repeatedly denied by Romania’s strong defensive display, leaving the Romanians ahead going into the final period.

The decisive breakthrough came in the third period, as Makutunovičius struck twice and Kliukoit added another to turn the game on its head. Despite Romania’s late response, Lithuania held firm to secure a dramatic 4–3 win, clinching the Division B title.

3rd/4th place
Azerbaijan win 7-1 against Kazakhstan
Azerbaijan swept aside Kazakhstan with a dominant win to secure the bronze medal in the Division B promotional final. Elchin and Kamran struck late in the first period to give Azerbaijan a comfortable 2–0 lead, as Kazakhstan struggled to find their rhythm.

Just a minute into the second period, Kurbanov pulled one back for Kazakhstan to briefly spark hope. However, Azerbaijan responded with a ruthless attacking display, as Bayram, Sahib and Orkhan all found the net to extend the lead to 5–1 by the second break.

The final period saw Azerbaijan continue their dominance, with Ramil and Jomard adding goals of their own to seal the emphatic 7–1 victory, a convincing claim to the bronze medal.

Individual Awards
During the awards ceremony in Viareggio, the Division B individual honours were presented for ‘Best Goalkeeper’, ‘MVP’, and ‘Top Scorer’. The ‘Top Scorer’ award went to Romania’s Toma (#10) with six goals, while Lithuania’s Kulikauskas (#12) was named ‘Best Goalkeeper’. The ‘MVP’ award was handed to Lithuania’s Makutunovičius (#9), who played a pivotal role in their title-winning campaign.
