July 2013: A month of firsts

Four different events all over the globe will decide four champions and leave 18 left wanting

Time flies when you´re active and July 2013 will be over before you know it. There are multiple Beach Soccer events all over the world and we could not be more excited for them to start. First, there is a spectacular event being put on in China, the Asian Beach Soccer Cup 2013. This event is being played in exotic Haiyang, China from July 11th-14th. There will be six teams jostling for the first ever cup of this tournament, hosts China, UAE, Australia, Palestine, Vietnam, and Thailand. The excitement doesn?t stop there.

Halfway across the world is the next Beach Soccer event, the Beach Soccer Worldwide Tour Sweden Cup 2013. This tournament will be a first in Beach Soccer history also. It will mark the first time Sweden has hosted an event such as this and also the Danes´ and the Swedes´ National teams will be playing in their first ever top-quality international Beach Soccer event. This will all take place from July 12th-14th. Along with Sweden and Denmark, England and The Netherlands will be hoping to take home the inaugural cup. Wait there´s even more action.

After Sweden, Beach Soccer makes a stop in The Hague (Netherlands) for a very important stage in the Euro Beach Soccer League. The EBSL Hague 2013 will start on July 19th and end on July 21st. This event will include eight teams. Four from Division A, trying to make it to the EBSL Superfinal, including, The Netherlands, Poland, Italy, and Belarus, and four from Division B, trying to make it to the Promotion final. The four teams from Division B are Greece, Norway, Bulgaria, and Estonia. If you like happy endings, the last Beach Soccer event in July will bring you joy.

Last but not least, comes the Beach Soccer Worldwide Mundialito 2013 in Gaia, Portugal. From July 26th to 28th, four of the worlds´ best Beach Soccer National teams will battle for the Mundialito Cup, which is in its 18th year of existence. In a tournament known for its rich history and high caliber teams, Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Japan will fight to earn their place in Beach Soccer lore. Defending Champion Portugal will do their best to fend off all attackers and keep their crown. That will wrap up an eventful July but don?t worry, the Beach Soccer adventures will continue five days later in Moscow with the EBSL Moscow 2013 stage?
