The Mannschaft claim three wins in Aschersleben showing a great evolution in their tune-up for the season
Germany, Czech Republic and Holland faced each other in four friendly games in Aschersleben (Germany) over the last weekend. The Mannschaft proved to be in a great shape, just some weeks before the European season kicks off, as goals galored for a record of 53 in four games.
Three wins in their three matches point that the Germans are in a good moment. A 11-3 win over Czech Republic on Saturday had things rolling for Marrucci’s side in Aschersleben.
One day later, the Mannschaft rolled past the Czechs once again, with another big win over Lukic’s side (8-1).
That Sunday was a busy day for the German National side, indeed, as they also took on the Netherlands in the evening. Despite the effort in the morning, Germany offered again an excellent performance, running pasrt the Dutch side with a comfortable win (11-5). Alexander Basiel, with four goals, and Julian Franz, with three, were the main protagonists of the last win by the hosts.
The Dutch did not fly back home empty-handed, though, as they had already beaten Czech Republic (9-5) the day before.
