More than 30 FAs represented in a symposium about the sport held at FIFA home these 8th and 9th January
The new growing steps of Beach Soccer are under expert analysis these days. The FIFA Beach Soccer Workshop is being held in FIFA home, Zurich, these 8th and 9th of January, holding the discussion and debate about many issues affecting the sport, looking for ways to make beach soccer even better. With the idea of pushing the sport?s growth even further, more than 30 National Member associations are present in the symposium, where all kinds of aspects of the sport are being dealt with.
Relevant figures in the sport such as Nicolai Pisarev, Sports Director in the Russian Football Association, Mustapha El Haddaoui, Morocco National Coach and FIFA instructor, Christian Karembeu, FIFA Beach Soccer Ambassador, Anton Sealey, Bahamas FA President, Damian Dupiellet, Argentinean FA Head of Beach Soccer, Ferdinando Arcopinto, Head of Delegation Italy Beach Soccer/FIGC, Joel Cantona, CEO of the French National Team, Angelo Schirinzi, National Swiss Coach and FIFA Instructor, Dave Offenbach, Head of Beach Soccer in KNVB, Jesus Rubio, FIFA Referee Instructor, and the big stars Ramiro Amarelle and Madjer took part of the first stage of the FIFA Beach Soccer Workshop. Of course, Jaime Yarza, FIFA Senior Manager Beach Soccer Competitions, Joan Cuscó, FIFA Beach Soccer CEO and FIFA Beach Soccer Committee Member, Gabino Renales, BSWW General Manager, and Santi Soler, BSWW Administration Manager lead the debate.
During this morning session, the stress is put on issues such as legal aspects, Women Competitions, the upcoming FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2013 Tahiti, Development programs, Sport Values, the Laws of the game, the Clubs implementation and the 2013 schedule.
The schedule for the afternoon session goes also to marketing plans, the competitions structure, Media and communication, TV rights exploitation, the new legal environment and the path to follow when building a beach soccer stadium. Some case studies, such as Dubai?s success story, Switzerland?s National Championship, the construction of a permanent facilities in Bahamas or Russia?s road to the top will be under study too.
