Event Summary

A brand-new competition has been incorporated into the Beach Soccer calendar: The Llorenç Beach Soccer Cup. Named after the Spanish beach soccer legend, who recently retired from playing, this youth competition will feature teams from Spain and abroad competing in the U14 and U18 divisions, with categories for both boys and girls. Between 14 and 17 of April, Llorenç’s home town of Torredembarra will host this beach soccer festival, fully sanctioned and co-organised by Beach Soccer Worldwide. The venue for the competition is not alien to beach soccer fans and players, as the Platja de la Paella hosted some Euro Beach Soccer League events some years ago, and it is also where the international players from Torredembarra train.
