GD Alfarim win 4-3 against Real Münster, after extra-time.
GD Alfarim produced a stunning comeback to defeat Real Münster 4-3 after extra time in a thrilling Winners Challenge Final. The German side looked dominant early, with a composed finish from Jordan and a late brace from Leo Martins gave them a comfortable 3-0 lead in the opening period.
Pinhal gave Alfarim a lifeline with a late goal in the second period, trimming the deficit to 3-1. Real Münster couldn’t add to their tally and entered the final period under mounting pressure.
Alfarim responded with spirit precision. André scored to close the gap further, and Pinhal’s second goal dramatically levelled the match, sending it into extra time. It was Cabral who rose to the occasion, firing in the decisive goal to crown GD Alfarim champions in a memorable final.
3rd/4th place
Vila Flor SC win 4-3 against Cevennes Meridionales.
Cevennes Meridionales started the match strongly, with Raoul finding the net to hand his side a 1-0 lead in the first period. Vila Flor SC struggled to break through a disciplined Cevennes defence and ended the period without a goal.
The second period brought more intensity as Raoul struck again midway through the period to double the lead for Cevennes. Trivelas levelled the score with a well-taken strike for Vila Flor. But still trailed 2-1 lead heading into the final period.
The third period turned the tide in favour of the Portuguese side. Judan extended Cevennes’ lead to 3–1, but Vila Flor responded with a determined comeback. Tim and Luca both found the net, and Trivelas completed his brace to seal a dramatic 4–3 win, earning Vila Flor SC a well-fought third-place finish.
5th/6th place
Torrejón win 5-2 against AO Kefallinia.
Torrejón secured a strong 5-2 victory over AO Kefallinia to finish in 5th place. The Spanish side came out with intent, as Luisito, Yago, and Itu all found the net in the first period to establish a commanding 3-0 lead.
In the second period, Torrejón continued their momentum. Yago grabbed his second of the match, and Sergio added another to stretch the lead to 5-0. Kefallinia responded with goals from Lekkas and Koukovinis to reduce the deficit to 5-2 before the end of the period.
Despite their efforts, Kefallinia couldn’t find a way back in the third period. Torrejón sealed a deserved 5th-place finish.
Individual awards
Following the final, three individual awards were presented to the top performers. João Cabral (GD Alfarim) was named MVP of the competition, João Oliveira (GD Alfarim) received the Best Goalkeeper award, and Leo Martins (Real Münster) was recognised as the Top Goalscorer.
