European season continues. This is the time for France, Portugal, Switzerland and Italy in Division A and Azerbaijan, The Netherlands and Czech Republic. All team arrive in Italy needing some points, with some of the teams playing their last stage of the League. This is the case of Italy, who so far have 5 points and look forward to winning the event in front of their crowd. It is the opposite for the Swiss, who start their Euro Beach Soccer League participation this week-end in Italy.
So far, Russia is leading the League with 3 wins in 3 matches (9 points). Close is Spain with 8, but none of them play this stage. It is the last opportunity for France, Portugal and Italy to scratch some points and try to qualify for the Superfinal in Portugal.
In Division B, Dutch, Azeri and Czechs will battle for one spot in Portugal in a Round Robin competition format. Just one winner, although there is a chance of qualifying also if they get runner-up, as the best 2nd also qualifies.
