England gets ahead in Sunderland

Host England became the first leader after the opening matchday at the Beach Soccer Worldwide Tour event being held in Sunderland. The English team got rid of the competitive Greek National Team, and offered their fans a hard-fought, brilliant triumph (4-2).

In the other match played in the Stadium of Light facilities, Mexico beat Germany (4-3). The American found it hard to overcome the Germans during the fixture first stages, but they finally managed to field all their power to place themselves as seconds. Just goal difference makes England first in the table.
