No surprises. That was the idea inside Egyptian heads right before this final matchday in the BSWW Tour taking place in the Al Musannah Sports City of Oman. And there wasn’t, since the pharaohs secured their first place after a tight but significant victory over Morocco. The battle was also set between Youssef (Egypt) and El Haoudi (Morocco) for the highest place of the final scorechart. Two goals for each of them put them at its top, with 5 hits, together with Omani’s forward Hani.
Although the hosts’ number 10 did not increase his records today, Nasser and Faisal doublets helped his country claiming a higher position after the bad luck, or lack of aim, of two penalty-shootout defeats. Today’s victory over Nigeria finally merited Thalib’s lads a second place, and gave them good sensations back, just one month before the beginning of the Asian Beach Games they are also going to host in early December.
