EBSL Division B draw set for Monday as promotion race begins

Eight nations will discover their group-stage opponents on 22 June at 12:00 (UTC+2), live on BeachSoccerTV.com


The road to promotion to the Euro Beach Soccer League Division A 2027 will officially begin on Monday, 22 June, when the draw for the Euro Beach Soccer League Division B Georgia 2026 takes place at 12:00 (UTC+2).

The draw ceremony will be broadcast live on BeachSoccerTV.com and will determine the composition of the two groups that will compete in Batumi from 15 to 19 July.

Eight national teams will take part in the tournament: hosts Georgia, Latvia, Romania, Azerbaijan, Malta, England, Norway and Slovakia.

Based on the final standings of the Euro Beach Soccer League 2025, Georgia have been seeded in Group A as A1, while Latvia will occupy position B1 in Group B. The remaining teams will be distributed across three pots according to their rankings before being drawn into the two groups.

The competition format will see the eight teams divided into two groups of four. Following the group stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, where the winners of Group A and Group B will face the runners-up from the opposite group (1A vs 2B and 1B vs 2A).

The stakes could not be higher: the two finalists will secure promotion to Division A for the 2027 Euro Beach Soccer League season.

With only two promotion places available, every match in Batumi will be crucial as the participating nations battle for a place among Europe’s elite.
