Alea iacta est. The eight teams taking part in the upcoming FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup – CONCACAF Qualifier Puerto Vallarta already know who they are to face in that hard-to-fight way to Italy 2011. The competition’s Official Draw, held this morning (Mexican local time) at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Puerto Vallarta, has distributed the groups and set the fixtures. The balls have sent México, El Salvador, Canada and Jamaica to Group A, and The USA, Costa Rica, Bahamas and Guatemala to Group B, and, consequently, the match schedule goes as follows:

Representing the City Council of Puerto Vallarta, Salvador González, Municipal President, Jose Luis Díaz, Tourism Director, and Cesar D. Macías, General Manager of the Local Sport Council have attended the ceremony, as well as Ludwig Estrada, Tourism regional director of the Jalisco State Tourism Office (Secretaría de Turismo del Estado de Jalisco). Salvador Peña and Luis Ángel Cantú, General Manager and Comitee member respectively, have represented the Fideicomiso de Turismo de Puerto Vallarta in the meeting. Mexico’s National coach, Ramón Raya, and a representation of the squad have also wanted to be there and getting to know first-hand the final setting of the chart.
