Draw for FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifier Europe to be held on Friday

Friday 4 June will see the draw for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifier and the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifier Europe Europe – Preliminary Round take place at the Beach Soccer Worldwide offices. The draw will be broadcast LIVE, through Beach Soccer Worldwide’s official Facebook page.

The draw will begin at 12:00pm Central European Time, and will start with the Preliminary Round. The teams participating in the Preliminary Round are:

• Czech Republic

• Denmark

• England

• Estonia

• Kazakhstan

• Lithuania

• Moldova

• Norway

• Romania

• Sweden

 

The 10 teams, including a debuting Sweden side, will be drawn into three groups, two of three and one group of four. Czech Republic, England and Kazakhstan, as the highest-ranked teams participating in the preliminary round, will occupy the first seeds in each group. (A1, B1 and C1)

The Preliminary Round will be played from 17 – 19 June, and the top five teams will qualify to the Main Round, which will be played from 21 – 27 June.

• Azerbaijan

• Belarus

• France

• Germany

• Italy

• Poland

• Portugal

• Spain

• Switzerland

• Turkey

• Ukraine

• Preliminary Round Team 1

• Preliminary Round Team 2

• Preliminary Round Team 3

• Preliminary Round Team 4 

• Preliminary Round Team 5

 

These 16 teams will be organised into four groups of four in Friday’s draw, with Portugal, Italy, Spain and Switzerland, as the highest-ranked European nations in the BSWW World Ranking, occupying the first seeds in each group (A1, B1, C1 and D1).
