The National competition featured a Women’s division for the first time this 2020, with Slavia Praha claiming the first crown
The Czech National Beach Soccer League is well underway with their 2020 edition, with many improvements that confirm the steady growth of beach soccer in the country, including the creation of the Women’s Beach Soccer division.
In the men’s division, eight teams take part in this 2020 edition of the Czech Beach Soccer League: Defending champions BS Slavia Praha, BS Bohemians 1905, BS Ladronka, BS Villagers Uherské Hradiste, BS Dukla Praha, BS Morgan Commando Teplice, BSS Praha (formed by U21 players) and BS ViOn Slovakia, from the neighboring Slovakia.
The Czech National championship consists on two regular phase stages (held on 11-12 and 18-19 July) plus a Final Four.

BS Slavia Praha become first Women’s champions
This 2020 season will also mark the beginning of top-flight national women’s beach soccer in the Czech Republic, with four teams taking part in the first Women’s National Beach Soccer Championship.
BS Slavia Praha, BS Pribram, BS Bohemians 1905 and BS Dukla Praha participated in this very first chapter, featuring a smaller-scale competition.
BS Slavia Praha dominated the competition all throughout, securing the trophy after staying perfect during the whole weekend. The 8-1 in the final match against neighbours Dukla Praha confirmed the Red-and-whites as first National queens.
Kim Ding Thanh (BS Pribram) with 11 goals became the competition top scorer, with Aneta Jungova (BS Slavia Praha) being awarded as MVP of the competition. Hedvika Vacikova (BS Bohemians 1905) was named Best Goalkeeper.
