Paraguay knock Peru down

Argentina snatch two points from penalty-kick spot
Argentina had to suffer a lot today to get two new points. In their game against Chile, the hosts of this FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2013 ? CONMEBOL Qualifier Merlo San Luis needed to fight a one goal distance back twice, one of the times in the extra time, to finally secure the victory at the penalty kick shootout.
Despite getting in control of the game for the first minutes, the Albiceleste saw the mighty Chileans get ahead in the score, thanks to Argote?s powerful shot. Franceschini equalized the match in the same second period, and Medero?s 2-1 with just two minutes to go seemed to be worth the victory for Petrasso?s side. But it was not, as Valenzuela silenced the amazing crowd firing a free kick home and sending the game into extra time.
In the supplementary 3 minutes, the Argentinean side and the thousands of people cheering for them at the Parque Recreativo feared the worst when Carrasco bagged the 2-3. Franceschini, after a penalty kick for handballing, rescued the hosts with just a few seconds to the final whistle.
The penalty kick shootout was the only way out to the game, and, this time, the Argentineans were the ones to clinch the points, thanks to Salgueiro?s brilliant save to Valenzuela?s attempt, and Medero?s perfect aim at his.
