The Canarinhas beat England 5-3 in the final

Brazil have won the first Women’s NEOM Beach Soccer Cup. Fabrício Santos team ended the tournament with a 100% record after defeating England in the final.
Title-winning performance
Both teams had faced each other less than 24 hours before and that knowledge proved to be useful for England who took the lead three minutes into the game through a header by Hannah Short from a corner kick.
Brazil reacted three minutes later, Jasna Nagel scored the equaliser that stood on the scoreboard until the last minute of the second period. Taiane brought problems to the English defence and put the Brazilians ahead of the result going into the final period.
Connie Short made it all levelled again less than 30 seconds into the final period, but the inevitable Taiane hit back immediately to keep Brazil ahead. It would be Taiane to sentence the match as she netted the hat-trick three minutes before the end.
Adriele increased the lead with one minute to go before Barron scored the final goal of the game to make it 5-3.
The trophy went to Brazil, who also dominated the individual awards ceremony as Bárbara Colodetti won the Best Player award and Taiane finished the competition as the top scorer.
Dutch revenge wins bronze medal
Ukraine had cruised past the Netherlands the day before but Maikel Schats girls showed up at the third place play-off game determined to finish the tournament on a high.
Sylvana twice and Rosa, gave the Dutch a 3-0 lead, putting them in a comfortable position that was threatened by Vypasniak’s and Kaliahina’s goals in the second period.
The Netherlands held on to their one-goal lead though and left the NEOM Beach Games with the bronze medal.
The Ukrainians didn’t go home empty-handed as Anastasiia Terekh won the best goalkeeper award.
