A host of expert speakers will take to the podium in Dubai next Friday for the annual event.
The agenda for the fifth annual beach soccer workshop in Dubai has been confirmed, with the educational and informative event getting under way on Friday, November 4th.
Held as part of the prestigious Samsung Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup, the workshop offers players, coaches and various other stakeholders in the sport a chance to learn while also contributing to its continued growth.
Next week’s workshop will begin with welcome speeches by H. E. Saeed Hareb, General Secretary of the Dubai Sports Council, as well as Joan Cusco, Executive Vice-President at Beach Soccer Worldwide.
Guests will then be treated to a talk from Jeff Ehrenkranz – the President of Octagon Marketing International in town to discuss how the sport goes about attracting bigger brands and sponsorship.
Up next, Dubai Expo 2020 COO and Baku 2015 European Games CEO Simon Clegg will lead a discussion centering on how beach soccer can become an Olympic sport.
Following a break for refreshments, Brent Rahim from the FIFA Development Department will talk about the FIFA Teach Manual and the FIFA Forward Programme before Bahamas Football Association President Anton Sealey informs guests about matters regarding the upcoming FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in the country.
Gabino Renales, Deputy Vice-President at Beach Soccer Worldwide will round off proceedings by leading guests through the plan for the 2017 calendar, prior to a summary and a final question and answer session.
With a lunch at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi to follow, focus will then return to the Samsung Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup as matchday four is played out at Dubai International Marine Club.
